This year, spring seems a bit timid and is making itself desired. The temperatures still force us to wear a sweater but all this does not hinder the work at the Junior Farm which instead must respect the times of sowing and planting of vegetables and aromatic herbs because the heat will arrive very soon and everything must be ready!
In these days Riccardo and Kujo are working hard to finish the last works: a final check on the irrigation system, the grass to be cut, the trees to be pruned, the biological treatments to be sprayed.
Also for this year there are many news: wheat and barley have sprung up among the fields and a greenhouse has been completed that allows the harvest to be brought forward by a month and the first plants have already been planted. But, the real new entries are Lakota and Camilla who have already become Junior Farm mascots!
We officially present them to you, they are an 11-year-old horse from Avellino and a female pony with a lively character who, a few days ago, moved to their new home in Cavallino-Treporti.
